Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality medical care and treatment to our patients under the supervision of an OB/GYN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in women’s health and must be able to obtain hospital privileges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and preventive health assessments within established guidelines.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients’ clinical conditions.
• Perform various laboratory tests as needed.
• Document physical findings and create appropriate care plans and prognoses.
• Develop and manage comprehensive patient care plans.
• Submit health care plans and patient goals for review and evaluation by the supervising physician.
• Recommend treatments including medications, physical therapy, or other therapeutic procedures.
• Provide counseling and patient education on topics such as substance abuse, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyles.
• Participate in the ARMS Quality Improvement Plan.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  

Education & Experience:

• Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited Nursing program.
• 2–4 years of clinical experience, preferably in women’s health
  
  

Certifications & Licenses (Required):

• Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
• Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (NCC)
• Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
