Strong leadership skills and strong work ethic required. Detail oriented, excellent customer service skills, excellent communicator, reliable, and self-driven. Must thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, coordinating and working directly with the General Manager in assisting with the overall hiring process and team member performance reviews. Oversee and schedule all team members. Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures. Develop and implement employee initiatives and challenges. Salaried position, minimum 40 hours per week. Afternoons and evenings, Tuesday through Saturday, occasional MondaysWe are closed on Sundays.

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Hospitality preferred

  • Front and back of house experience preferred

  • Work experience in management and hospitality industry

Manage and Develop FOH and BOH Team Members:


  • Salaried position, minimum 40 hours per week; afternoons, evenings, weekends (Tuesday-Saturday and occasional Mondays)…expectation is to work as required by schedule to maintain operations of business and said responsibilities

  • Provide inspired leadership for the organization

  • Ensure exceptional customer service to our guests

  • Implement training techniques and delegate responsibilities

  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

  • Develop and implement team member initiatives and challenges

  • Develop and implement team member incentives and rewards

  • Support team member communication with the upper management team

  • Develop, implement, and review front of house operational policies and procedures 

  • Support worker communication with the management team

  • Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company

  • Proficient in the following restaurant functions: food planning, food preparation, food purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, and excellent customer service

Oversee Front of House Operations


  • Order and ensure FOH items are readily available

  • Implement Monthly Specials

  • Update POS and all online ordering to reflect any changes in menu

  • Website - work with Marketing to ensure website is up to date

  • Club member rewards/incentives

  • Ensure total cleanliness of business, including but not limited to, inside winery and outdoor space


HR/Training


  • Develops weekly schedule for all team members

  • Manages all team member call-offs and schedule changes

  • Evaluate Candidates

  • Interview Candidates

  • Ensure training is scheduled and followed through on all team members hired

  • Maintains review dates and all trainings (TIPS, Wine Tasting 100, etc…)

  • Maintains all team member birthdays

  • Maintains all online paperwork and file necessary paperwork

  • Ensure team member compliance to Employee Handbook

  • Ensure team member disciplinary actions to correct behavior and document issues

Financial/Operational Procedures


  • Review POS tip pooling and submit (daily)

  • Review and verify team member hours worked (daily)

  • Audit POS orders to ensure accuracy of entry (weekly)

  • Review and submit payroll (biweekly)

  • Monitor budgets and payroll records, and review financial transactions to ensure that expenditures are authorized and budgeted

  • Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement

  • Opening/Closing checklists

  • Training checklist for all team members

  • Incident Reports

  • Ensure additional training performed on regular basis with all team members
