Overview:

Struction Solutions is seeking skilled Welders to support projects across the state of Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have proven experience performing structural and/or pipe welding in compliance with applicable codes and standards. This position may require travel throughout various parishes and offers opportunities for consistent fieldwork, competitive pay, and long-term project assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform various types of welding, including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-core, on steel and other metals.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures, components, and equipment.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all welds meet quality, safety, and structural standards.
• Operate welding and cutting equipment safely and maintain tools in good working condition.
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet project timelines.
• Adhere to all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Certification or formal training in welding technology (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of professional welding experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in multiple welding techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Must be willing to travel and work at various project sites throughout Louisiana.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working on public works, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
• AWS or ASME welding certification(s).
• Prior work with municipal, state, or federal contracts.
