ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a high-energy, dependable and skilled team player to work in our shipping department to prepare and package products for shipping/distribution to buyers. 

Shift Hours: Monday through Friday 6:30am-3:00pm

DUTIES

•  Package product loads from all areas of the company to prepare them for transport to buyers

•  Stretch wrap pallets to stabilize product for shipping

•  Place protective materials around product, such as cardboard corners, padding, etc. to ensure safe arrival of  products at destination

•  Carefully crate products for shipping

•  Ensure cleanliness of shipping and warehouse areas

•  Transport loads to shipping via forklift on occasion

•  Other duties as assigned

•  May be assigned to fill in for other departments if needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

•  Must be able to read tape measures and basic measuring tools

•  Warehouse, shipping or manufacturing experience

•  Must be able to read and understand paperwork

•  Must be able to use a banding tool and basic hand tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

•  High School or Equivalent

•  Forklift Experience
