WAREHOUSE WORKER/DRIVER
POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse Worker will Unload incoming material safely and accurately. Load company vehicles with material and deliver them to our customers in a safe, accurate and neat manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Arrive on time and maintain a positive attitude
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, professional manner
- Unload company and vendor vehicles safely and accurately
- Treat fellow employees and customers courteously
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Clean work areas and vehicle regularly
- Strive for improvement everyday
- Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of related experience working in warehousing or a similar industry
- Forklift experience and applicable state certification for truck and/ or all operation
- Manual dexterity required for operation machinery
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to be a team player and meet deadlines
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
-Must be willing and able to drive a 24-foot box truck
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Perform standing, stooping, bending, lifting, for 4-5 hours a day. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
