Summary of Position: The Warehouse Specialist is a person whose job is to provide assistance in everyday operations of a warehouse. The positions include shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, order preparation, processing return, product transport, and basic inventory functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Handles and operates necessary tools to maintain and manage a warehouse
Loads and unloads all incoming and outgoing packages
Checks quantity and style of goods received against bill of lading or other documents
Manages customer and Pro Shop fulfillment efficiently
Wraps/packs orders for shipping
Notifies sender of any damaged or missing goods
Helps plan efficient use of warehouse space
Labels, organizes and records location of goods in warehouse for efficient access
Keeps neat and cleans warehouse premises
Prepares dispatch notes and labels upon requests
Prepares goods for daily pick up by freight companies
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
0 – 1 year warehousing or similar experience
Ability to read and comprehend customers’ orders, bills of lading, etc.
Knowledge or ability to learn computer software systems
Self-motivated and detailed organizational skills
Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Willing to engage in physical labor daily
