Warehouse Manager

We are a leading Louisville-based manufacturing facility who is looking for a qualified warehouse manager to join our team.

The Warehouse/Packaging Manager is responsible for all in-bound and out-bound shipments and packaging processes. He/ She will assign warehouse and packaging personnel as needed. Perform all necessary administrative tasks and maintain communications associated with the activities of the Shipping and Receiving and Packaging Department. He/ She will assume responsibility for all shift’s performance in safety, product quality, output housekeeping and cost control.  He/ She will maintain employee relationships and be responsible for the effectiveness of communications relevant to performance to obtain plant goals. Workday is usually 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• ·         The Warehouse/Packaging manager is responsible for the packaging, shipping, and receiving of all raw materials and finished goods.

• ·         This role is responsible for the maintenance of an accurate inventory of raw and finished goods. An inventory is conducted once a period to ensure proper utilization and proper shipment of goods.

• ·         This role is responsible for ensuring complete and accurate pulls for production, any discrepancies are reported directly to Purchasing and Production upon their discovery.

• ·         This role is responsible for the accurate and efficient process of packing finished goods to meet customer demands.

• ·         This role is responsible for the delegation and training of all duties pertaining to the safe and efficient packing of all finished goods.

• ·         This role is responsible for the delegation and training of all duties pertaining to the safe and efficient shipping and receipt of all finished and raw materials.

• ·         The Warehouse/Packaging manager will play an active role in the weekly manager’s meeting to ensure the progress of CFS continues to move in the right direction.
