Warehouse Associate (Parts Handler)

Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Handler to join our team at our Chatham location.
What You Will Do:
- Verifying parts to ensure they are correct before placing into production
- Assist in stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas
- Re-stocking shelves and moving parts
- Assist customers when looking for parts
- May assist with loading vehicles
- Other duties as assigned
What We Require:
- High school diploma, GED or other high school equivalence certificate
- Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience or order picker required
- Excellent customer service skills – dedicated to exceeding expectations of internal and external customers
- Strong written and verbal skills – ability to write and speak succinctly with customers and colleagues
- Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, word, excel) and ability to learn in-house systems
- Heavy duty parts knowledge or background an asset
- Experience with RF Scanner/Barcode gun an asset
- Valid class 5/G license with 3 years of Canadian driving experience an asset
