Warehouse Associate

Based in South Louisiana, D&S Marine Service is a family owned and operated inland marine transportation company. We specialize in the movement of barges along the Lower Mississippi River and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. With our growing fleet of tow boats, we have set the bar with our unwavering commitment to quality, performance and exceptional customer service since 2005.

Warehouse Associate job duties include but not limited to:

• Maintain stock inventory
• Confirm, sign for, and receive deliveries
• Pull supply orders for vessels and place in designated bins
• Shop locally for supplies 
• Load trucks with vessel supplies
• Maintain warehouse and boat room in clean and safe condition
• Take physical inventory count
• Perform other job duties assigned by the Purchasing Department  
• Adhere to and comply with company policies and regulated traffic laws 
  

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Pass a drug screen and physical
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Forklift experience preferred, but not required
• No experience necessary

 Job Type:      

• Part-time
• This position has flexible hours Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. 
• Weekly hours estimation: 20-25 hours
