The Opportunity:

Scope of the position
Refrigerative Supply Limited’s Digital Content and SEO Specialist will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing and implementing meta-data for our B2B website to optimize page ranking on search engines, as well as creating customized website landing pages, promotional pages and site banners to help drive online sales. Knowledge of HVAC/R products is an asset as position also requires the collection, organization, enrichment and transfer of product information onto our website and eventually into a Product Information Management (PIM) system. Once the PIM solution is operating the Specialist will maintain, improve, and champion the platform while managing the program day-to-day. This role will work alongside stakeholders across the organization to align best practice SEO and product information with the needs of the website and eCommerce platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to facilitate the collection, organization and enrichment of product SKU’s for upload onto website.
  • Management of relationships with third-party content creators; includes submitting SKU’s for enrichment, tracking status of submitted content and auditing quality and accuracy of returned product information.
  • Optimization of product and category navigation using analytics, customized synonyms/translations and search boosting/burying to promote product visibility and drive online conversions.
  • Support the implementation and integration of a PIM solution and the migration of all product data into the PIM
  • Oversee the creation of procedural and training resources and promoting the PIM platform for all RSL users
  • Provide expertise on current Product Information Management best practices; consult on cross-functional projects to ensure PIM and eCommerce principles are incorporated.
  • Act as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and test new Product Information Management initiatives.
  • Create, analyze and interpret SEO reports using analytics to implement and audit site SEO meta-data including page titles, meta descriptions and meta keywords to optimize page ranking on search engines.
  • Work with Marketing, Sales, and Purchasing on all promotions displayed on website ensuring SEO standards are incorporated to drive site performance.
  • Creation of new and relevant content landing pages using the Content Management System (CMS) to promote customer engagement and drive online sales; examples include Shop By Brand category page, Clearance/Discount landing page etc.
  • Lead development of internal processes for content management.
  • Oversee and aid administrative support of online customer setups when required
  • Any other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-years demonstrated experience in a similar role and/or with wholesale distribution or HVAC/R industry experience.
  • Product Information Management and Content Management System (CMS) experience preferred.
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Proven ability being resourceful, independent and finding creative solutions to technical problems.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including the ability to communicate technology-related information and clearly detail implementation processes.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and make decisions.
  • Ability to understand technology as it relates to the business.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, eCommerce, and PIM systems.
  • Professional business acumen.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards.
  • HTML programming language experience preferred
  • Experience as SEO or PIM Specialist preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
