The Vice President of Business Development will be responsible for driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the construction industry and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives. Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential projects and clients, ensuring a steady flow of new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and mentor the business development activities to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
  • Proposal Development: Oversee the preparation of high-quality proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project management, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on business development metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and foster relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of successful sales and business development strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
