VMware Senior Consultant- Clarksburg, WV

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a VMware Senior Consultant to support a contract in Clarksburg, WV.

Job Description

This position is an on-site VMware resident providing technical support and maintenance of the clients vSphere 6.7 multi-site infrastructure. Components include UCS, several vCenter servers, 150+ ESXi hosts, vROPs, vRLI, and vRO 

Tasks would include, but not limited to the following: 

• Front line troubleshooting support of VMware products 
• Perform upgrades/updates as needed on products 
• Implement  STIG, VMware hardening guides and best practices  
• Assist in the resolution of POA&M items  
• Assist tenants in troubleshooting issues 
• Implement automation to day to day tasks utilizing vRO and or powershell scripts 
• Provide knowledge and guidance to team members as needed     

Requirements

Clearance:

Active Top-Secret/ SCI, CI Poly eligible

Minimum Education Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum Experience Required:

·         5 to 15 years of customer-facing experience with Federal customers

·         Technical knowledge of multiple VMware products/solutions focused on vSphere/vROPS technology

·         Experience in infrastructure architecture and design of complex distributed systems environments

·         Experience deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting

·         Experience delivering applications and managing user profile data
