VIP Host - Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Bar, Las Vegas
POSITION SUMMARY: The VIP Host will generate revenue through development and servicing of relationships with existing and potential target guests. The VIP Host will be encouraged to attend events, visit local business and hotels, or attend other relevant social outings to create a new customer base. The Host will respond professionally to all company generated leads (both phone and web) in a quick and timely manner to maximize VIP table sales and profitability. The position facilitates all guest reservation requests promptly and without error, ensures guests are aware of events and supports the execution of them, maintains high level of visibility throughout the facility, and builds guest loyalty by exceeding all expectations in service and dependability. They will identify potential enhancements for the customer’s experience and make it happen for that “Very Important Person”, while also resolving any possible disappointments or customer issues quickly and efficiently. Position will report to all scheduled duties in a timely manner and collaborate with all departments to ensure total guest satisfaction. Position is responsible for effectively handling guest complaints and discrepancies, assuring all guests are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner. This position will be responsible for account management for the customers deemed “VIPs” and is responsible for the management of TC deliverables to, and from, other departments and store locations as required for success in that goal. The position will work cohesively with other sales-based co-workers within the department as well as all venue management teams and staff alike.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Identify potential trends that could affect customer satisfaction
- Drive sales initiatives to establish the customer’s desire to purchase VIP experiences
- Ensure the team follows, and is measured, on established performance expectations
- Provide regular and real-time status on VIP bookings and accounts
- Maintain a good rapport with the management team of all locations
- All VIP table reservations to be entered into reservation management system in timely manner
- All assigned data collection, marketing, and social media tasks must be completed per management’s requests
- Maintain professionalism at the workplace and with co-workers and patrons
- Maintain a consistent and high level of guest list productivity
- Be attentive to all company related events and upcoming venues and changes
- Maintain and meet all marketing requirements such as guest list, contact information forms, social media outreach
- Keep a proper and professional appearance and attitude
- Responsible for maintaining the workstation / podium in a neat and orderly fashion at all venues
- Maintain and promote a friendly atmosphere for customers and staff
- Provide customers with information and directions
- Comply with cross promotion of all venues and when needed
- Online Promotion is an integral part of being a Promotions Host

WORKING KNOWLEDGE /EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent
- Five plus (4+) years in the nightlife industry
- Two plus (2+) years of sales experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards
- Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Work will include indoor and/or outdoor areas. Must have the ability to withstand high and low temperatures
- Work is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy etc. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. access.
- Tasks are performed from a non-sitting and sitting position.
- Constant contact with guests and fellow Team Members is required.
- Schedule could exceed 30 hours per week and may include overtime when approved by management
- Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to be exposed to day life/nightlife environmental factors including but not limited to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, flashing/strobe lights, and stress levels related to interacting with guests in a fast-paced environment.
