Vice President of Property Management

Raleigh, NC Full-time

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our organization as the Vice President of Property Management in Greensboro, NC. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property management, ensuring the efficient operation and optimization of our conventional multifamily, real estate portfolio. Your primary goal will be to enhance the value of our properties while delivering exceptional experiences to our residents and stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create proactive operational strategic plans to optimize the processes, systems, and personnel to deliver growth for our clients
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Executive team in developing plans for future direction
  • Oversee creation of annual budgets to ensure profitability goals can be achieved for owners
  • Continually monitor and adjust property operations and financial performance strategies as appropriate
  • Implement and streamline consistent policies and procedures across all portfolios. 
  • Identify capital improvements for presentation to owners to maximize profitability and resident satisfaction
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), client requirements, performance, and quality standards.  Report on any variances proactively
  • Work with Executive team on business development opportunities
  • Continuously monitor technology platforms to increase employee productivity, improve operational plans, forecast property improvement needs and increase revenue.  Make recommendations for process improvements
  • Lead collaborative discussions of problems and resolution of issues using a high degree of diplomacy, respect, and trustworthiness. Develop and nurture appropriate relationships with clients, community leaders, and other stakeholders
  • Understand market and industry trends and bring forth new and fresh ideas
  • Oversee strategic vendor partners to improve pricing and effectiveness
  • Proactively manage ROI through a comprehensive understanding of all facets of property management income.  Ensure “watch list” is in place for potential issu

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

BA or BS preferred.  Ten or more years of a proven track record of increasing responsibility and experience in the multi-family industry, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
