~Hope for Veterans Program~

Shift: (per diem position is only one available) covering one of two shifts --  Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm OR Monday-Friday: 12pm-8pm

Payrate:  $15.49/ hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean veterans’ rooms once a resident moves out of the program and packs/stores resident’s belongings if needed.
• Cleans dayrooms, bathrooms, kitchen area, and hallways daily
• Steam cleans day room furniture monthly.
• Vacuums and cleans area rugs throughout the building as needed.
• Empties all garbage cans throughout the building daily.
• Transports all garbage to dumpster on the VA campus.
• Dust and polish wooden surfaces and furniture as needed.
• Replenishes bathroom and restocks all cleaning supply closets daily.
• Assists with keeping community areas neat, clean, and organized.
• Assists with set up and clean-up of all program events (i.e. Memorial Day BBQ, Holiday Parties, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications:

• Must be able to complete job responsibilities.
• Veteran preferred; Bilingual preferred.
