Vascular Surgeon

Veterans Engineering is in search of a Vascular Surgeon to provide services to our veterans through the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System (VAHSC).

Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday-7:30am to 4:00pm

• On-Call: On-call Weeknights, Monday through Friday 4:00pm – 7:30am. Physician to carry pager or cell phone at all times
• On-call Weekends, Saturday 7:30am– Sunday 7:30am and/or Sunday 7:30am – Monday 7:30am. Physician to carry pager or cell phone at all times
• Once paged, the contractor’s physician must respond within 15 minutes by phone and, under clinically appropriate circumstances or when over the phone consultation is not sufficient, on-site within 60 minutes.

Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Certification: shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Physician Services
• License: shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
• DEA is Required: (SPECIAL NOTE: For procurements that require a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration, providers must have a medical license and be individually registered with the DEA in the state where they will provide services under the contract).
• All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses.
• Physician(s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
