Location: LNGC Kitimat
Schedule:The selected Equipment Operator will work 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. In the future, this position has the potential for additional hours, weekend work, or night-shift.- Operate equipment as per company and customer expectations
- Maintain equipment in accordance with company and manufacturer requirements
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required documents.
- Attend daily safety meetings
- Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices
- Maintain valid safety tickets & site orientations as required
Qualification and Competencies:
- Minimum 3 Years, valid Class 1 License w/ Clean Abstract with Air Brake Endorsement
- Must be Experienced with the operation of a Semi Vac/ Hydro Vac/Combo Vac Unit
- 13 or 18 Speed Transmission experience (must be able to drive manual transmission)
- Strong communicator with staff, managers and other drivers
- Instructor certified First Aid & H2S Alive
- CSE, CSTS, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance are considered assets
- Operate a heavy vehicle in challenging environments, in all weather, and in compliance of legal, company, and client requirements.
- Ability to pass pre-employment Fit to Work & Drug Alcohol Testing
- Must be physically fit to enter and exit the vehicle many times per day, inspect under vehicle and trailer, and climb.
- Must be local to the Kitimat and surrounding area
- MUST BE WILLING to work day-shift, night-shift and weekends, on a rotating basis
