Utah State Trainer (Internal Posting)
ELM Utility Services, with over 1300 employees nationwide, has an outstanding opportunity as a State Trainer in Utah. The primary role is to train new field technicians. This position could be performed out of the state of Utah with travel throughout Utah for training. This person will have daily contact with Managers, Supervisor and Field Technicians, and will utilize the Star training program to train new Field Technicians. Job duties will be performed with the assistance and/or coordination of the local Supervisors and Area Managers. Professional communication with all management and customers is essential and vital to the trainer position. Office hours and schedule may vary. Pay for this job is based on experience ranging from $58,700 - $65,000 a year.

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in the utility industry and 1 year of underground locating experience.
• Qualified applicants must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Applicants must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Word and Excel experience is a plus
• Previous training experience is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
