We are seeking a USMC Supply and Maintenance Instructor to support the MRTC at I MEF with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment.

 

 

Location:

·       This position is located on Camp Pendleton, CA

 

Responsibilities:

·       Provide on-site Instruction to 20+ students from multiple platforms and support distance learning environments.

·       Develop and conduct tailored Over-The-Shoulder (OTS) instruction specific to USMC Unit and local procedures.

·       Work in team environments to develop policies and procedures that support best business practices.

·       Conduct user analysis to develop local business processes and procedures.

·       Analyze, Design, Develop, and Implement curriculum in order to maintain up-to-date content that adheres to current best practices.

·       Perform administrative actions for students as required.

·       Conduct analysis aligned to USMC Supply and Maintenance operations, processes and procedures.

·       Follow setup and troubleshooting steps with Mobile Training Suite and associated hardware.

·       Help maintain and update the Mobile Training Suites.

·       Develop and write curriculum aligned to USMC Supply and Maintenance operations, orders, and directives.

o   This includes experience with or expertise in: Depot Repair, Field Service, Install Base, Mobile Field Service, Oracle Asset Tracking, Spares Management,

o   Government General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Federal Financials, Federal Purchasing.

o   Discrete Manufacturing: Bills of Material, Quality, Work in Process.

o    Maintenance Management: Complex Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, Enterprise Asset Management.

o    Order Management: Order Management, Release Management, Shipping Execution

o    Supply Chain Planning: Demand Planning, Inventory optimization, Supply Chain Planning

o    Architecture: Concurrent Manager, Flex fields

o   Public Sector/Financials: Government General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Federal Financials, Federal Purchasing

o   Configuration: Approvals Management, Oracle Forms Customization, User Management, Oracle App System Administration, PL/SQL Extensions, Workflow

o    Security: Single Sign On, Security, User Management Extension (UMX)

o    Comms Solution: Asset Management, Service Fulfillment Manager

o   Procurement & Sourcing

o   Product Lifecycle Management

o   Management: Oracle Applications Manager, XML Publisher, Oracle Workflow Cartridge

Required Qualifications:

Security Clearance:

·       US Citizenship required.

·       Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret.

 

Education and Experience:

·       8+ years of USMC support (active duty or civilian), preferably within Logistics and Supply Chain field

·       Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certified technical training in computer science, software development and two years of experience in related field.

·       Four years of experience in related field may be applied in lieu degree requirement.

·       4+ years Military Formal Schools instruction

·       4+ years Curriculum Development or Instructional Design

·       GCSS-MC user experience required.

·       Expertise with Oracle-based User Productivity Kit (UPK) (a plus)

·       Experience in the use of Mobile Training Suites (a plus)

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
  • Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business and instructional needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally one-on-one as well as with a diverse group.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Able to write functional deliverables in a clear and concise manner.
  • Oracle certification in Supply Chain disciplines (a plus)
