Job Summary:
Bloom Health Centers serves patients through psychiatry, psychotherapy, TMS, Spravato, and psychological testing.

We are seeking an empathetic, reliable, and motivated mental health professional to join our ancillary team as a Traveling TMS/Spravato Technician. This role requires regular travel to our Virginia office locations — Alexandria, Charlottesville, Manassas, Winchester, Arlington, Leesburg, and Richmond — based on departmental needs. All work-related travel will be reimbursed.
This position offers 10–40 hours per week, depending on scheduling needs. The ideal candidate is adaptable, takes initiative, and excels in providing supportive patient care. Training and education surrounding TMS therapy are provided; previous TMS experience is a plus but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Travel to assigned Virginia Bloom Health Center locations as scheduled (travel expenses will be reimbursed).
• Treat patients according to specified protocol by correctly setting up and utilizing TMS equipment.
• Administer TMS and Spravato treatments in alignment with clinical protocols.
• Engage patients in supportive, appropriate clinical dialogue throughout treatment.
• Monitor and escalate critical situations as necessary, including suicidal ideation or adverse medical events.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including patient notes, progress updates, PHQ-9 scores, billing codes, and REMS reporting.
• Handle all medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals through weekly patient rounds and case discussions.
• Create fee forms/payment plans for any out-of-pocket costs.
• Communicate with patients via phone or email to provide treatment information, schedule appointments, update accounts, and offer related support.
• Participate in internal and external collaboration, education, and marketing efforts.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the direct supervisor.
• Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with patients, colleagues, and mental health professionals.
• Maintain reliable transportation for travel between Virginia office locations and adhere to provided shift schedules.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in psychology, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
• Successful completion of TMS certification (can be completed after hire, if needed).
• Must be available Monday–Friday within the hours of 7:00am–7:00pm.
• 1+ years of direct clinical or medical care experience.
• Experience working with patients with depression preferred.
• Organized, reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer proficiency (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Reliable transportation required; mileage/travel reimbursement provided for travel to Virginia office locations.
