Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized NEMT Transportation Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation services, ensuring that all clients are picked up and dropped off in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule transportation for clients based on their individual needs and appointment times.
• Communicate with drivers to assign and confirm schedules.
• Monitor real-time trip progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely service.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities.
• Respond to client inquiries and address any scheduling issues or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize route planning and improve service efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in transportation management or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in transportation scheduling, dispatching, or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using scheduling software and other computer applications.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively.
• Knowledge of local geography and traffic patterns is an advantage.
