Transportation and Logistics Outside Sales Representative

MOBILE, Alabama Full-time $46000.00-$52000.00/year

Since 1958, Quick Delivery Service, now a 3rd generation business, has been providing Local pickup and delivery and logistics services to the entire Gulf Coast. Our locations are strategically positioned in the key markets of the Southeastern Regions.  

We are a Mobile/Pensacola trucking company looking for a Salesperson for our Hot-Shot, Truckload business in the Gulf coast region of Mobile, Al and Pensacola, Fl. Trucking transportation experience is a plus.

We prefer knowledge of the transportation business.

Responsibilities

    • Developed and maintained client relationships.
    • Working with dispatch/operations team to meet customer’s needs.
    • Maintaining sales goals and objectives.
    • Making cold calls Sales within the Gulf Coast area of Mobile, Al.
    • Marketing phone calls to target new customers.
    • Prepare customer quotations and presentations.
    • Tech intellect is a must (Microsoft 365 )
    • Identify and assess customers needs to achieve satisfaction.
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
    • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
    • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
    • Take the extra mile to engage customers.
    • Consistently achieved monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
    • Maintained regular contact with clients to understand and meet their needs.


    • This individual will build the company brand and spearhead marketing campaigns. In addition, will help take the company’s marketing message to customers and carriers via social media and advertisement. 

      • Manage marketing projects internally, as well as, through external marketing vendors.
      • Develop and organize content and marketing campaigns for social media platforms, the company website, newsletters, and other marketing mediums.
      • Oversee posts, content, and activity on all social media platforms. 
      • Update and monitor the company’s social media accounts on a daily basis for leads.
      • Assist the sales team in creating business development plans and offer strategic input that aids in the sales cycle and closing efforts.
      • Oversee company participation in various trade shows and conferences.  
      • Analyze and track marketing efforts and costs to determine effectiveness.
      • Ensure timelines are met, projects are completed within budget, and that the quality of work meets the desired criteria.

      Experience:
      • Minimum 2+ years of marketing experience preferably within the transportation industry.
      • Bachelor’s degree
      • Previous experience and knowledgeable about managing various social media platforms.  
      • Possess strong problem-solving and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

      This position offers a competitive base salary


      ***********Plus Commission ************ (after training)
      3 business days worked in office while training. Then 2  days out in the field with daily reports. (46k-52k)

      Full time potential  with 2 days remote and 3 days in the field (Salary & commission will be discussed)
