Wage Benefits summary:
· WAGE RANGE - $28 to $30/hour. Start at $28 with room for growth.
- PAID MEDICAL, DENTAL, LIFE INSURANCE, AND EAP with vision and other voluntary product options 1st of the month following date of hire.
- PAID TIME OFF - 168 Hours per year
- PAID TRAINING - 75Hr certificate, CPR, Nurse Delegation, NAR (will pay to maintain), TB, Food Handlers card, among other clinical specific training programs.
Trainer Responsibilities
- Training in line with the curriculum provided
- Participate in the development of staff training through regular training development work sessions
- Learn new software and applications as virtual learning modules are developed
- Participate in the development and evaluation of training metrics and measurement components that align with company-wide initiatives and goals
- Creates instructor/training materials, including course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids
- Research multiple sources and subject matter for curriculum development
- Keeps records, gathers, and analyzes information from evaluations for self- improvement and content refinement. Measures against business objectives suggest improvements.
- Enter training data into the Hope Human Services tracking systems
- Maintain training documents and submit them in a timely manner
- Identify and respond to training needs within the company
Trainer Skills / Requirements
· Be at least 21 years of age
· The instructor must be experienced in caregiving practices and demonstrate competency for teaching the course content or units being taught
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of professional or caregiving experience within the last five years in an adult family home, enhanced services facility, assisted living, supported living through DDA, or home care setting
- Willing to complete and maintain all trainings through DDA required for Trainer in an expedited manner
- Presentation & Facilitation skills
- Data gathering, analysis, and assimilation skills
- Critical thinking to develop or assess training materials
- Possesses a clear understanding of assigned groups, business practices and strategies
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality
- Strong ability in using technology, industry specific software and MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Good organizational and time management skills
