Our Langley, BC branch has an exciting opportunity for a Trailer Admin Assistant.


What You Will Do

The Trailer Admin Assistant provides administrative support for the assigned trailer location and assists with the documentation of trailer activities in coordination with the head office. You will work with your branch Team Members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks:

 

• Greet and support customers as the first on-site point of contact, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed efficiently.

• Act as a liaison between customers and suppliers to resolve issues, warranties, and inquiries.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.

• Provide administrative support to the trailer sales team throughout the sales process and daily operations.

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date customer contact database.

• Perform basic bookkeeping and invoicing functions.

• Manage expenses in accordance with FGI policies.

• Prepare weekly sales activity reports, including competitor insights and market conditions.

• Follow supervisory direction and company procedures.

• Advertise and market trailer inventory using approved tools and in alignment with FGI guidelines.

• Support annual inventory count processes.

• May support shipping and delivery of customer orders.

• May pick up orders in the warehouse for delivery and secure cargo (manual or forklift).

• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and adherence to assigned work hours.

• Demonstrate cooperative, team-oriented behaviour and the ability to work independently.

• Contribute ideas and suggestions to support continuous improvement initiatives.

• Other duties as assigned.

 

What We Require

 

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2–3 years of general office experience, including administrative support, bookkeeping, and invoicing.

• Experience with a CRM system; background in Salesforce is required.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Experience in aftermarket or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required.

• Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to exceeding expectations.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear, detailed information.

• Team-oriented, cooperative, and able to work independently for extended periods.

• Professionalism, integrity, and adaptability.

• A disciplined and solution-focused mindset.

• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
