Therapy Technician

Location: Metairie, Louisiana
Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM; Tuesday 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM; Friday 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM; Saturdays as needed
Training: Two-week training provided at our Mandeville location

We are looking for a professional, service-oriented team player to join our busy chiropractic practice as a Therapy Technician. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients while assisting our providers in delivering quality care. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to coordinate multiple responsibilities to ensure a seamless patient experience.
General SummaryThis is a non-exempt, direct patient care position responsible for assisting with patient care management and supporting both administrative and clinical procedures. Success in this role requires adherence to professional standards, ethical and legal practices, the ability to respond appropriately in emergencies, and the consistent demonstration of professionalism.
Essential Job Responsibilities-
Assist doctors with various therapies and examinations

Prepare treatment rooms for patients

Manage patient flow by directing patients to appropriate areas of the clinic

Instruct and supervise treatment protocols as directed

Administer therapies including cold laser, cervical and lumbar decompression, electrotherapy, ultrasound, rehab exercises, and hot/cold therapy instructions

Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and staff to share patient information

Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA standards

Interact with patients calmly and pleasantly using customer service techniques

Perform other duties as assigned

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred

Two or more years of experience in customer service or healthcare preferred
