Therapy Technician

Location: LaPlace, Louisiana

We are seeking a professional, service-oriented team player to join our busy chiropractic practice in LaPlace, Louisiana. As a full-time Chiropractic Therapy Technician, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. This is an entry-level position with training provided. Candidates must be able to coordinate and track a variety of details to ensure a seamless patient experience.

General Summary

This is a non-exempt, direct patient care position responsible for assisting in patient care management and performing both administrative and clinical procedures. Success in this role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to ethical standards and patient safety.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with therapies and examinations

• Prepare treatment rooms for patients

• Direct patients to appropriate areas of the clinic

• Instruct and supervise treatment protocols

• Administer therapies including cold laser, decompression, electrotherapy, ultrasound, rehab exercises, and hot/cold treatments

• Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and office staff

• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and clinic policies

• Provide excellent customer service with diplomacy and tact

• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• No college experience necessary

Experience

• Two or more years of customer service experience preferred

• Healthcare or reception experience is a plus but not required

Work Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM

• Tuesday: 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM

• Friday: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM

• Saturdays: As needed for trainings or patient care
