Therapy Billing Specialist

Job Overview:

Insurance verification specific to outpatient occupational and physical therapy for all major medical payers, as well as obtaining and tracking prior authorizations as required by insurance. Claims processing includes denials and collections on Insurance Claims.

Seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented person, who can work with a high volume of patients across satellite locations, as well as honor deadlines, multitask, and grow within the department.

Qualifications:

Basic computer skills are required including typing/navigating websites/familiar with PDF files, and scanning.

As well as a basic knowledge of types of insurance carriers and benefit terminology such as deductibles and copays.

Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting.
