Tennis Professional
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tennis Professional position supports the work of the YMCA of Collier County, Inc., a leading not-for-profit organization committed to strengthening the communities in Collier County through its core focus areas of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The Tennis Professional teaches lessons, promotes and assists in the implementation of the tennis programs, round robins and tournaments for all ages and levels, and assists the Tennis Coordinator with other assigned tasks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Instructs tennis at varying levels and ages in a progressive and educational manner.
· Schedules private and group lessons while executing the policies, rules, and regulations of the facility.
· Contributes to the creation of new concepts for various tennis events and orchestrates the communication, promotion, and execution of these events.
· Provides training and supervision to tennis maintenance staff on court maintenance procedures in order to ensure follow-through to established standards.
· Encourages member participation in tennis programs.
· Expected to attend seminars and workshops for continued professional development and certification.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
· Assists the Tennis Coordinator in additional program areas as needed.
