Telehandler/ Zoom Boom Operator

• Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate telehandler / zoom boom and skid steer to lift, move, and place materials

  • Communicate effectively with crews and subtrades to coordinate work and minimize hazards

  • Assist on site as directed by the Superintendent or Foreman

  • Identify and communicate material shortages, delays, or site issues

  • Maintain a clean, organized site during material storage and unloading

  • Complete all required site documentation (hazard assessments, equipment inspections, etc.)

  • Perform preventative maintenance and basic servicing (fluids, greasing, cleaning)

  • Operate equipment without damaging materials, equipment, or structures

    What You Bring

    • Experience in residential and/or commercial construction

    • Proven experience operating a zoom boom / telehandler and skid steer

    • Valid Telehandler / Zoom Boom certification

    • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

    • Willingness to perform physical labour as needed

    • Understanding of equipment inspections and preventative maintenance

    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

    • A strong work ethic and team-first attitude
