POOL Teacher Assistant/ Dedicated Aide
This job is for a pool position.

This is not a remote job. The candidate is expected to report to school daily. The candidate should be fully vaccinated.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
(1) 2 or more years of teacher assistant/ dedicated aide experience
(2) CEP degree is preferred.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Support a Student with Special Needs throughout the School Day:
- Assisting the student to participate in lessons, daily activities, and assessments.
- Give lessons under the direction of the lead teacher
- Implement prescribed behavioral strategies and positive behavior support in all settings.
- Accompany and assist students during related service sessions (speech therapy, occupational therapy, etc).
Collaborate with the Teaching Team and Special Education Team
- Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and the Student Support Coordinator in the planning and management of lessons and work that the student will be doing independently and with support.
- Provide regular communication about students’ development to the lead teacher.
- This includes planning for: classroom environment, natural environment teaching, instruction, discrete trial instruction, behavior management strategies, and reinforcement systems.
Assist in Data Collection and record-keeping
- Participate in all training related to data collection and assessment. Discuss observations with the lead teacher and other teaching staff.
Requirements – Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.80 - $25.80 per hour
