Recruitment Manager (Ontario) **12 month contract**
Together with a talented team of professionals, the Recruitment Manager will oversee and lead the hiring process across Ontario. The the Recruitment Manager will create standard job description and interview guides, design and implement recruiting procedures, supervise the Ontario recruitment team, ensure compliance with labour laws and be an expert in
finding creative ways to attract and retain top talent. The TAM’s goal is to
attract and hire qualified candidates to meet the company’s current and future
needs in a manner that is in line with our Company Goals and Values.

Role Responsibilities
· Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes).
· Lead, motivate and continue to grow the recruiting team and report on their performance.
· Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
· Introduce new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting, community partnerships, foreign worker programs)
· Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs.
· Coach and assist hiring managers on interviewing, onboarding and retention techniques.
· Recommend ways to improve our employer brand.
· Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
· Stay up to date on labor legislation and inform internal stakeholders about changes in regulations.
· Participate in job fairs and career events.
· Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partnerships.
· Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent.
· Demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities, effectively managing multiple profiles and candidate pipelines simultaneously.
· Negotiate employment terms and conditions with candidates that are in line with the Company’s standards.
· Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
· Review organizational structure, providing consultation and guidance to hiring managers to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
· Utilize various sourcing techniques such as leveraging job boards, social media, cold calling, and employee referrals.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
· Other duties as required.
· This role does require travel throughout 4 provinces in Canada on quarterly basis, or as the business requires and as directed/approved by the Vice President of Human Resources.
· This role resides in Ontario and is based out of the Oakville office.
Qualifications
· 2-5 years as a Recruitment Professional (with at least 1 direct report).
· Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in recruitment, in manufacturing or a related field.
· Hands-on experience with Recruitment Software, Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases.
· Working Knowledge of labour legislation.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and candidates.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
· Experience in Staffing and Recruitment companies is considered an asset.
· Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
· Experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs as it pertains to recruitment is considered an asset.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills.
· Strong decision-making skills.
· College Diploma or University degree in a relative field.
