Survey CAD Technician

We are looking for a Survey CAD Technician to join our Rogers, Arkansas team!
Responsibilities may include
- Data gathering for daily projects
- Perform office-based tasks such as survey calculations, CAD file preparation, and reviewing deeds and title work information
- Occasionally conduct field surveys including boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, construction staking, bathymetric surveys, and aerial surveys
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Prepare subdivision plats, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and construction staking plans
- Utilize software such as Civil 3D or Carlson Survey to prepare CAD drawings
- Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Survey CAD projects
- Willingness to learn and adapt, even if lacking some desired skills for the position
- Proficient in CAD drawing preparation
- Familiarity with software such as Civil 3D, Pix4D, and Carlson Survey
- Effective teamwork, self-motivation, and a customer service-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Availability for overtime work as needed
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferably enrolled as a land surveyor-in-training (LSIT) for a minimum of four years, as per state statutes
- Active enrollment in land surveying coursework, aiming to obtain a minimum of 12 credit hours, as per state statutes
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds
- Capacity to stand for extended periods of time during fieldwork
- Ability to work in different climate conditions when conducting field surveys
