 Wolfgang Confectioners currently has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst on our Supply Chain team. 

The Supply Chain Analyst's primary focus is on Planning, Purchasing, and Scheduling to support production.  The secondary focus is on continuous improvement opportunities that add value to the customer experience and cost savings within the supply chain. This role will receive guidance from the supply chain manager to improve buying power, reducing time from order of ingredients and supplies for line effectiveness and schedule attainment.     

 

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1)       Data analysis and procurement duties

a)       Utilizing customer forecasts plan and purchase material requirements raw and packaging.

b)       Purchase order maintenance

c)       Oversee the Supply Log ordering and reconciliation.

d)       Create job tickets.

e)       Reporting monthly vendor metrics

f)        Item creation in ERP system

g)       Develop and oversee improvement projects through completion with measurable results.

2)       Team Support

a)       Provides Back up for production scheduling.

b)       Identify and develop supply chain reporting from the ERP system and a process to support data reaction.

c)       Assists the Quality team in vendor onboarding and compliance.

FOOD SAFETY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-  Follow all Wolfgang Food Safety and Quality Policies.

-  Understand the basic requirements for SQF, Non-GMO and Gluten Free programs as it applies to supply chain sourcing and substitution.

-  Reporting all quality and concerns immediately to the appropriate personnel in the facility.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

-  Highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.

-  Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively handle inquiries or complaints.

-  Highly adaptable to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and changing situations.

-  Ability to identify areas of improvement and develop solutions.

-  Ability to seek information independently for combined results.

-  Ability to coordinate and facilitate cross-functional team meetings.

-  Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.

-  Basic knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and/or continuous improvement methodology

-  Interpersonal skills and ability to build and improve trusting relationships.

-  Proficient in Microsoft office suite.

-  Attention to detail in a fast pace and changing environment.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

-  Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or equivalent work experience

-  Two or more years experience in a supply chain management role or related position.

-  Proven knowledge of inventory management

Physical Requirements:

-  Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop and lift as needed.

-  Must be able to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds with little or no assistance.

-  Ability to see information in print form and/or electronically.

-  Ability to travel to meet customer needs.
