Superintendent

ROSNO Management & Leasing is looking for a Building Superintendent to maintain one of our larger buildings in Halifax, who is passionate about creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for our tenants. Couples welcome.  

Responsibilities:

• Be the main point of contact for tenants on site and address their concerns

• Showing units to potential tenants, move in/out inspections 

• Rent collection and delivery of communication to tenants

• Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas – sweeping, mopping, vacuuming etc. 

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the building surrounds 

• Lawn maintenance

• Snow removal 

• Cleaning vacant units 

• Basic maintenance duties – painting, plumbing, drywall, carpentry repairs 

• Assist contractors on site 

• Ensure the building is secure at all times

• Arrange and log maintenance of all annual inspections required for the building to operate safely and efficiently

• Turn over units as necessary by completing minor required repairs, painting and cleaning

Qualifications:

• Clean record

• Ability to complete basic maintenance 

• Previous experience as a building manager required 

• Reliable, organized and able to work well with a team and independently
