TNDC is proud to announce a unique career development opportunity aimed at fostering the growth and development of Tahltan members, affiliates, and local community members interested in the construction and engineering sectors. As part of our commitment to the Tahltan Nation and local communities, we are offering a site-based role at the Red Chris site, focused on the TIA Dam Raise project for the 2024 season.

• Participate in the TIA Dam Raise project, gaining hands-on experience in project controls, project management, and other key aspects of construction and mining.

•  This is a golden opportunity for those in the early stages of their career or students interested in engineering or business who are keen on pursuing a career in the construction industry, especially within the realms of project controls and project management.

•  The role will be developed and defined in collaboration with TNDC, offering a chance for real-world application of academic learning in a rotational role.

• Eligibility: Open to Tahltan members/affiliates or local community members with an interest in engineering, business, or related fields. No strict educational requirement to ensure broad eligibility.
• Intent: Candidates should be enthusiastic about gaining site-based experience in construction projects and mining, contributing positively to the team at the Red Chris site.

• Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Willingness to sign an Oath of Confidentiality.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and willing to provide a current driver abstract.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime during peak or critical work periods.
