Summer Position Community Bottle Sorter/Counter

Placement: Can begin in May or June
Hourly Wage: $15.65
Hours per week: 35
Shift Schedule:
Friday-Tuesday 8:00am-3:00pm
*The position is temporary for 8 weeks
Responsibilities:
- Use provided training knowledge to sort various bottles
- With training, can identify potential contaminants in the recycling process.
- Report issues to Team Lead or Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Be able to work independently and within a small team environment.
- Be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain high levels of attendance.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be eager, upbeat, and have a positive attitude.
- Have the ability to stand for long periods, crouch, bend and kneel, and be capable of moderate to heavy lifting and carrying.
- Demonstrate the spirit of teamwork and collaboration with the flexibility to adapt to various tasks.
