Summer Microbiology Lab Tech- Hillside, NJ

Garden State Laboratories, Inc. is seeking seasonal microbiology laboratory technicians to work this summer season, from early May until Labor Day. Lab technicians will report to the Microbiology Supervisor in our Main Lab located in Hillside, NJ. The shift is generally from 10am to 6pm weekdays and 1pm to 6pm on weekends, however the ending time can vary slightly depending on when the scheduled work has been completed.

We are looking for Lab Techs interested in working Part-time (Two or three days a week) or Full-time (Four, five or more days a week).

Must be able to work on weekends and holidays. 

Responsibilities will primarily be media preparation, recording temperatures, calibrating pH meters and balances and analyzing samples. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. 

A background in science is required. Experience is not required. The necessary training to perform this job will be provided to the right candidate.
