We are hiring a Strategic Pricing and Data Analyst to play a key role in shaping our company’s pricing strategy and business performance insights. This position analyzes internal and market data to support pricing decisions, evaluate performance, and guide competitive, profitable strategies. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and able to turn data into actionable recommendations that drive business success.
What You’ll Do:
Gather, assess, and maintain competitive pricing data from industry sources and market intelligence tools.
Compile and analyze historical sales and pricing data across product lines, regions, and customer segments.
Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and economic conditions that impact pricing.
Conduct margin, elasticity, and sensitivity analyses to understand the financial implications of pricing changes.
Identify pricing opportunities and risks and recommend data-driven strategies.
Develop and refine pricing models, discount structures, and frameworks to balance profitability and competitiveness.
Maintain accurate pricing and customer records in the ERP system; ensure compliance and data integrity.
Partner with finance, sales, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
Evaluate existing pricing methodologies and propose enhancements.
Create dashboards and reports tracking margins, win/loss rates, and price variance.
Communicate pricing updates and insights clearly to leadership and internal stakeholders.
Support pricing technology initiatives and process improvements.
Stay up to date on industry practices, pricing tools, and analytical techniques.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to four years of related experience in pricing, financial analysis, or data analytics.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business insights.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics.
Four to five years of relevant experience.
Background in statistical modeling, forecasting, or machine learning.
Experience using ERP systems or pricing software.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Standard office setting, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hours per week).
Occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
Minimal travel required, with limited visits to customer sites or corporate offices.
