Guest Service Representative, Hop-On, Hop-Off

Vancouver, BC Seasonal $19.00/hour

Location:         Downtown Vancouver
Wages:            $19.00 per hour + commission + 4% vacation pay
Work Hours:   Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays – Full time + Part time roles available
                           Shift work,  from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Are you passionate about Vancouver, speaking to new people, and sharing ideas on things to do in our beautiful city?  With a focus on engaging, informing, selling and organizing guests, we are looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, guest-oriented team members to work in downtown Vancouver and on our Hop-On Hop-Off buses, to help deliver a superior guest experience.  You will be working outside on your feet, acting as a visitor ambassador hub for guests,  supporting our Sales Team to sell tours and attractions to guests from all over the world. 

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE
  • Providing outstanding guest service, building personal relationships with guests, and sharing expert knowledge of local neighbourhoods and attractions
  • Assisting Hop-On, Hop-Off drivers by scanning tickets on buses
  • Helping guests load and unload safely and efficiently
  • Selling Hop-On Hop-Off tickets and partner attractions
  • Working cooperatively with all team members, staying updated on operational changes, and communicating relevant information effectively
  • Professionally addressing guest complaints or concerns, elevating to Supervisor when necessary
WHAT WE WILL LIKE ABOUT YOU
  • You have previous experience working in a customer service environment
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • You possess passion, integrity, adaptability with a professional and positive attitude
  • You enjoy working outdoors. This job requires standing and walking outside for extended periods of time
  • You possess strong knowledge of downtown Vancouver including key attractions and experiences
  • You can work a flexible schedule and are available to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous tourism experience or knowledge of the industry is an asset
