Sr. Facilites Services Director - Victoria, TX
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
Directs physical plant operations and facilities services.
· Directs department operations; provides leadership to departmental staff and supervises assistant director and administrative staff.
· Develops and manages departmental budgets, which include deferred maintenance, capital renewal, renovations, and utilities.
· Oversees renovations and construction $1 million or under, or due to an emergency.
· Conducts cost analyses and directs the procurement of renovation services.
· Maintains contract agreements, including custodial services outsourcing contracts.
· Coordinates communications and preparation of the specifications of new construction and renovations between Facilities Services and System Facilities Planning & Construction.
· Serves on the Facilities Space Planning Committee and Emergency Management Team.
· Assesses department services effectiveness; develops department goals and objectives.
· Provides short- and long-range planning of facilities services and cost analysis reports.
· Develops policies and procedures related to facilities services.
· Serves as property manager; oversees the property inventory.
· Performs other job-related duties as required.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management or related field and (7) years related experience.
