Speech-Language Pathologist (DODD)

Job Summary:
Provides speech, language, communication, and swallowing services to individuals with developmental disabilities in accordance with DODD standards.

Essential Duties:

• Conduct speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on assessed needs.

• Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy, including use of AAC systems.

• Address dysphagia concerns and recommend safe feeding strategies in collaboration with medical professionals.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and ISP development.

• Train and consult with staff, caregivers, and families on communication and swallowing supports.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with DODD requirements.
