Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Clinical Fellows, Graduate Students, Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
· Perform patient evaluations and interpret results
· Provide evidenced-based treatment based on the assessment results and prescribed plan of care
· Administer speech and language screenings
· Mentor assigned students, SLP-Assistants and CFYs (if applicable)
· Build a strong referral network within the greater Houston area
· Participate in staff development programs
· Prepare and participate in lectures as assigned to the local and professional community
· Participate in an annual review and mutual goal planning for professional development and performance
· Practice in accordance with the ASHA and AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language Code of Ethics

Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology required
1-3 years of professional speech-language pathology experience with pediatrics preferred
· Caseload Management
o Successfully manage a schedule to include patient appointments, meetings, etc
o Perform all job-related tasks without compromising direct patient care
o Successfully manage difficult cases; request assistance from Director of the Speech Therapy Services as necessary
· Internet
Use of the internet for therapy activities and parent resources
· Software
Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
Ability to learn current EMR technology (TIMS)
· English Language
