About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our growing in-house therapy team. In this role, you will assess, treat, and help improve communication and swallowing functions for patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and enjoy the opportunity to provide impactful, personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions
- Educate patients and families on treatment strategies
- Collaborate with physical, occupational, and nursing staff
- Document evaluations, treatment progress, and outcomes
- Meet reasonable productivity standards
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Washington
- Master's degree from an accredited SLP program
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care preferred
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech and swallowing
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
