Specialist, Media Relations (Temporary, Full-Time)

As the Specialist, Media Relations at UGM, you’ll represent a powerful cause, sharing stories of hope and resilience, and leading media efforts for major initiatives like UGM’s renowned Major Meals. Reporting to the Manager, Media Relations & Communications, you’ll execute communication strategies across multiple channels in Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Greater Victoria area, all with the goal of promoting UGM’s life-saving work. As UGM’s spokesperson, you’ll elevate external awareness and help communities understand the vital impact of UGM’s mission. If you’re a skilled communicator with a passion for making a difference, this is your chance to be part of UGM’s story of transformation.
You may come into contact with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
The starting wage range for this position is $31.92 - $34.88 per hour.
