Position Description:

We are looking for a special education teacher to join our team!

Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center is accepting resumes for a Special Education Teacher for the Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program in Bedford, PA.

Principal Responsibilities include providing educational instruction to the clients, consultation with the home school districts of clients in the program, coordinate client’s IEP, document client’s progress in the curriculum, direct supervision of clients during educational component of program, attend trainings in order to continually stay current with practices and guidelines, participate as member of treatment team, and work as part of the team. The applicant should possess a desire to work with children having academic and behavioral health challenges with the assurance of having support from a dedicated, therapeutic team.

The position requires a bachelor's degree and applicant must have a PA State Teaching Certification. Special Education is preferred but not required. In addition to the training requirements assigned by leadership and program directors, a teacher must receive training and experience in crisis intervention.

Applicant must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.
