Surgery Center of Gilbert is seeking a motivated Sterile Processing Technician to join our team! Our fast-paced ASC is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary:  The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team.  

Required Skills/Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required

Computer skills, required

CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred

Must have 1+ years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician

Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray & prioritizes instrument turnaround for daily schedule needs   

Understands operation of steam/ gravity sterilizer. maintains records of sterilizers

Ability to prepare reports and keep records., organizes and helps maintain sterile supply area

Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required

Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed

Must be an excellent team player with strong communication skills
