Position: Unpaid Social Work Intern

This position will be scheduled as needed and requires flexibility in availability. This position is not benefit eligible.
 
As a Social Work Intern, you will be responsible for assisting, observing, and completing any duties assigned while supporting the Stonehill Communities mission and values, under the direction of the Social Work Coordinator. 

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Completing and entering admissions paperwork
• Conducting the discharge follow up calls and sharing information as appropriate
• Completing MDS assessment
• Provide general assistance to team members and residents
• Assist with telephone inquiries, typing and maintaining up-to-date filing systems
• Enters resident information
• Enter date and review discrepancies in data received
• Assist and observe care conferences and discharge planning 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of computers including all Microsoft software programs and ability to type 50 WPM.
• Excellent reading, writing, grammar, organizational and communication skills.
• Strong public speaking skills; Attention to detail, great upbeat attitude, ability to take initiative, complete cooperation with other team members and be resourceful.
