Social Work Clinical Associate

Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is offering an exciting training and clinical supervision opportunity designed to help you develop your clinical skills and grow into a confident, licensed clinician.

We’re seeking up to four motivated and mission-driven Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW) to join our team. In this full-time, two-year program, you’ll receive hands-on experience, professional supervision, and personalized support as you make a difference in the lives of patients and families in our integrated care setting.

What You’ll Do:

As a Social Work Clinical Associate, you’ll be a key part of an interdisciplinary care team—working alongside medical and behavioral health professionals to provide compassionate, evidence-based care. You will:

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using proven clinical methods.
• Provide substance use disorder (SUD) services and family support.
• Engage in outreach to underserved communities, helping patients overcome social and environmental barriers to wellness.
• Identify and address social determinants of health to promote long-term, sustainable outcomes.
• Participate in regular supervision, training, and professional development activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Must have an active LMSW license in good standing.
• A master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• A passion for serving diverse populations and addressing mental health and substance use challenges.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
