Social Services Director

Milan Healthcare is a 100-bed skilled long-term care facility located in Milan, MO, and is seeking an experienced Social Services Director.

 The qualified candidate will be a results-oriented team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enjoy working with the aging population, and those afflicted with mental health diagnoses.

Must have a minimum of one year of social work experience in a health care setting. BSW or bachelor’s degree in the human services field, including but not limited to sociology, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology. • Monday to Friday ( 8a- 4:30p)
• Social Work: 1 year preferred
• BSW or Bachelor's in Human Services Field required
• Salary $41,600/ year

Duties include:

· Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

· Documentation of all SSD services in PPC (Point Care Click)

· Participate in the SSD portion of the Medicaid process, completing MDS assessments, admission process, etc.
