Social Service Director

Wellsville Health Care Center is currently seeking a Social Services Director. The qualified candidate will be energetic, results orientated team leader with superior interpersonal and communication skills to take charge of the Social Services Department. Position will involve planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services Department. Duties will normally involve days however occasional evening and weekend visits will be needed. We are seeking a team player who is self-motivated, enjoys working with the aging population and those afflicted with mental health diagnosis and has a caring approach. Prefer 2-5 years social work experience ideally in Long-term Care. Must have a minimum of one year of supervised social work experience in a health care setting working directly with individuals. BSW degree or bachelor’s degree in a human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology is required.
